On January 16, 2026, the launching ceremony of the coastal vessel “N0.28 Toshin” was held at Nakanoshima Shipyard.

The vessel is a coastal cargo ship with 499GT/1,850DWT.

Designed with a practical hull form optimized for actual operations, the vessel achieves a balance between safety and transportation efficiency.

The next day, a Japanese traditional safety prayer ceremony("Anzen Kigan") was held at Konpira Shrine, where prayers were offered for the vessel’s safe voyages and for the crew’s continued safety without accidents or incidents.

*The shrine is believed to be a guardian of sailors and fishermen, though its faith also has aspects of mountain worship.

Following outfitting works and various trials, the vessel is scheduled for delivery in March 2026.
